Coastal Residence

The owners sought an unhurried home for weekends and longer stays, with comfortable spaces for guests and a sense of continuity between the living, dining and outdoor areas. They wanted understated interiors that would feel welcoming rather than formal.

The design response uses a clear circulation route and furniture arrangements that define distinct zones within an open plan. A palette of natural timber, mineral tones and textured fabrics keeps the spaces calm. Layered lighting shifts the mood from bright daytime living to quieter evenings, while discreet joinery provides practical storage.
